Reinventing Church: Acts 4
By Pastor Bill Flavin | Scripture: Acts 4

Do we fall into the trap of believing that what lies ahead in our lives is simply more of what we have already experienced. What if God is up to something new?

This week we read Acts 4:1-22, and saw the disciples get arrested and placed on trial for healing a blind man. The disciples are criticized for sharing about Jesus with others, for being witnesses, for sharing their first hand accounts of the power and impact of Jesus in their lives. Sunday January19: “Practice: Solitude (Encounter Oneself)” Matthew 26:36-46

Silence can be loud. You know it because you settle into bed, turn off the lights, and sometimes the chatter, the noise, the back and forth in your own mind can feel like a lot.
