Reinventing Church: Acts 6
By Pastor Bill Flavin | Scripture: Acts 6

This week we will be focused around giving generously.  In Acts 6 we find that the early church is struggling with everyone trying to do everything, and so the position of deacon is created. Elders teach, preach and provide Spiritual guidance, the deacons cared for the widows, orphans and those in need. How is God calling each of us to use our own gifts and passions to serve others in our community, to meet the needs all around us.

Maundy/Thursday April 2: Luke 22:39-53 “Jesus Last Moments”

Jesus’ last time with his disciples reflects what has always been core to his ministry, and a picture of what was about to happen. Sunday March 22: “Formed Through Challenges” 2 Corinthians 4:7-18

Though pressed, persecuted, and worn down, he points to a God who is at work through suffering rather than absent from it. This passage teaches us that hardship can become a place where God forms resilience, faith, and eternal perspective.
