Sunday, March 19th: Alongside-Community of Grace and Truth
h By Pastor Bill Flavin

Discipleship is the intersection of our vision to be a community who is Radical in Love, Real in Relationships, and Rooted in Christ. But what do we mean here at River Rock when we say disciple? It starts with the word alongside. Discipleship is walking alongside others as they are transformed by the gospel, pursue Jesus, and live out his mission. A disciple’s life is one that is driven by a missional lifestyle, where we are on mission to share the gospel and live like Jesus in all of our lives.

Sunday March 22: “Formed Through Challenges” 2 Corinthians 4:7-18

This passage teaches us that hardship can become a place where God forms resilience, faith, and eternal perspective.

In Athens, Paul models a faith that listens carefully and speaks thoughtfully into a culture filled with competing beliefs. Rather than condemning his audience, he connects the gospel to their questions and longings. God forms us here to be faithful witnesses who communicate Christ with wisdom, humility, and love.
