Feb 4: I love my church- Real life: Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Helping someone be self-sufficient is a goal that parents aim for as their children age. We want our kids to be able to care for themselves and not need to lean on us for everything. Yet scripture makes clear that we are designed for relationship, for leaning on each other, for trusting and loving others.
What guards your heart ultimately shapes the direction of your life. Through Christ, we are given a new identity and invited into a new way of living that reflects His righteousness. We’ll look at how God protects and transforms us from the inside out, forming hearts that are steady and aligned with Him
In a world full of competing voices and shifting ideas, truth is what holds everything together. Jesus invites us not just to know the truth, but to remain in it and be shaped by it. We’ll explore how being rooted in God’s truth brings clarity, freedom, and stability to our everyday lives.
Life brings pressure, uncertainty, and challenges—but we’re not meant to face it alone or unprepared. Before we talk about the armor, we begin with the foundation: what it means to be rooted in God’s strength rather than our own, and why God gives us this armor for daily life. This will set the stage to talk about why deep roots are essential for a steady, resilient faith.
