Sunday July 14: Philippians 1:1-11 “Faith is a Journey not a Destination”
By Lead Pastor, Bill Flavin

In much of our lives, we rush to finish projects, get a promotion, or reach the next something.  That same mentality can leak into our faith if we are not careful. In Philippians 1 we are reminded that God is up to something in each of us, and that faith is a process of being formed by God, not a destination or project to reach.

Sunday July 13: Abraham: Names, Detours, and Discernment Series: “Covenant” Genesis 15

Contracts are agreements between two people or parties that are created to protect each signee. A covenant is an agreement between two people or parties that is meant to protect the other person. In Genesis 15 God formally makes his promise to Abram, and makes clear the terms of what it will take to uphold the covenant. God reminds Abram (and us) that much in this world is far more about God and less about us.
