Sunday October 13: Acts 9:36-43 “Everyday Saints”

By Lead Pastor, Bill Flavin

In Acts 9 we meet a woman named Dorcas who seems to be living a relatively normal life.  Then she passes, and the town begins to turn out in large numbers to remember the simple, everyday ways that this woman served and blessed her community.  From a place of gratitude to God, we each are invited to serve and love others out of the overflow of our relationship with God.

Sunday July 13: Abraham: Names, Detours, and Discernment Series: “Covenant” Genesis 15

Contracts are agreements between two people or parties that are created to protect each signee. A covenant is an agreement between two people or parties that is meant to protect the other person. In Genesis 15 God formally makes his promise to Abram, and makes clear the terms of what it will take to uphold the covenant. God reminds Abram (and us) that much in this world is far more about God and less about us.
