River Rock is dedicated to prayerfully connecting people to serve according to their gifts and passions. Perhaps you have been searching for the right place to use your time and talents to be the hands and feet of Christ. We’d love to help connect you in a way that you can faithfully use yours gifts.
There are many specific areas within River Rock Church that need volunteers in order to function. Check out the list below for more info about each ministry and the ministry leader to contact if you are interested in serving.
Nursery and Kids on the Rock (KOTR)-If you enjoy ministering to kids ages birth through fifth grade, this ministry if for you! This ministry takes place during our Sunday morning service. If you are a middle schooler or older and would like to serve in this area, you can contact Brian Ellis at briane@riverrockcommunity.com.
Junior and High School Student Ministry- If you enjoy working with teens, whether thats with junior high or high school, this ministry is for you! Junior High meets Sunday afternoons immediately following our morning worship service and High School meets Sunday evenings. Hospitality Team- (cafe host, coffee makers, treat makers)-Who doesn’t like snacks and coffee on a Sunday morning? If you would like to make snacks for our cafe, serve those snacks at cafe or make the coffee for others to enjoy, this ministry is for you!If you are interested in serving in this ministry, you can contact Dawn Ellis at dawnrellis61@gmail.com.
Welcome Center and Greeters-Everyone likes to be greeted with a smile and feel welcomed when they walk in on a Sunday morning! If you are interested in serving in this ministry, you can contact Sharon Caulk at sharoncaulk@gmail.com.
Security-Do you want to help our congregation feel safe and protected on Sunday mornings? Then the security team would love your help and support. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, you can contact Dale Norquist at dalen@paragonde.com and/or Jim Stull at jstull@scottchristopherhomes.com.
Set Up or Teardown-Sharing space with another organization means each week certain things need to be set up before service and taken down afterward. If you don’t mind stacking chairs or setting up banners, etc., this ministry is for you! If you are interested in serving in this ministry, you can contact Joel Keck at jskeck4@gmail.com.
Prayer Ministry-Prayer warriors are always needed to uphold our church and our community. There are a few different ways to be involved in this ministry. Whether that’s on Sunday mornings, praying before/after our service with people or on Tuesday mornings with the whole prayer team as they intercede for our people. Worship/Tech Team-Are you someone who loves to worship Jesus and can sing or play an instrument? Maybe you don’t sing or play and instrument but love to work with technology and music. Then this ministry is for you! We are always welcoming new members to this team!
